A new competition was launched in 2004 with the Swiss Poster Award.
«Swiss posters» As the market leader in Swiss outdoor advertising, the quality of the design of the posters is one of our areas of interest. From 1942 to 2004, we organized and financed the «Swiss posters» competition every year on behalf of the Swiss Federal Department of the Interior (EDI), and presented the winning posters throughout the country at exhibitions. Between the years 1941-1990, a total of 1,300 posters received awards, and have been brought together in a magnificent illustrated anniversary book:
Our involvement in culture also includes the support of poster campaigns in the non-commercial area, to which we have committed ourselves in many cities within the context of concession contracts. In addition, there is also a generous discount agreement with the around 300 charitable organizations associated with the Central Office for Charitable Organizations ZEWO, and the supply of several thousand posters a year to the Swiss National Library (NL) for the various poster collections. | |
