APG lowers cost per thousand

Good news for APG's customers: with the launch of the new booking window for the first half of 2010, the subsidiary of Affichage Holding SA is cutting the cost per thousand (CPM) across its poster networks by an average of 8.2%. The 20% last-minute discount now also applies to "Rail Rollingstar", and what is more, the successful APG-Profitline is set to continue.

APG customers will enjoy twice the benefits when the new booking window is launched on 12 October 2009. Switzerland's leading provider of poster advertising is lowering its CPM by an average of 8.2%. Why the price reduction? Because of Network optimization and various changes as a result of the first findings from the new pricing system. The last-minute discount of 20% now also applies to the Rail Rollingstar F200L format.

APG also plans to continue the successful product APG Profitline. This enables customers on a smaller budget to access over 50,000 poster faces in F12 and F200 format all over Switzerland. The offering is limited to a maximum of five packages a week.

Other news in brief

  • The F24 poster format range in Switzerland is constantly being expanded and is set to include the option of annual contracts and even bookings for any individual poster face.
  • The entire network offering has been optimized, and the offering for individual faces has been expanded. Customers can now book 55% of all poster faces on an individual basis, with 45% integrated into networks.
  • The independent institute SPR+ has now incorporated the performance values for the 27 largest railway stations in Switzerland into its SPR+ Expert planning software. Based on this, APG plans to further optimize its offering and extend the new pricing system to include railway stations. This is likely to take effect from the booking window for the first half of 2011.
